WEDNESDAY: GOV. MALLOY SPEAKS TO MUNICIPAL LEADERS ON EDUCATION REFORM; HOLDS EDUCATION TOWN HALL IN BRIDGEPORT

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Wednesday afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will speak to a group of mayors and first selectmen from throughout the state about the importance of passing meaningful education reform legislation at the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities' "Day on the Hill."

In the evening, Governor Malloy will hold a town hall meeting on education reform in Bridgeport, where he will discuss the need to improve the state's public school system with parents, students, teachers and other concerned members of the public. This will be the twelfth town hall meeting of the Governor's Education Reform Tour, which began at the beginning of March.
