TUESDAY: GOV. MALLOY HOLDS NEWS CONFERENCE TO PROMOTE NEW SMALL BUSINESS JOB CREATION PROGRAM; ATTENDS STATE MATH MEET; SPEAKS AT BLOOMFIELD MUSIC FESTIVAL

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Tuesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will host a news conference at a small business in Bloomfield to promote a new state program that is creating incentives for small businesses to add jobs and hire unemployed jobseekers.

Later, Governor Malloy will attend the Connecticut State Math Meet in Storrs, where he will speak to a group of students from more than 45 schools about the importance of a public school education.

In the evening, Governor Malloy will give welcoming remarks at the Bloomfield All District Music Festival's "identity2," an event hosted by the Bloomfield Public Schools Department of Visual and Performing Arts.
