WEDNESDAY: GOV. MALLOY MEETS WITH BOARDS OF EDUCATION MEMBERS; ATTENDS DENTAL ASSOCIATION NEWS CONFERENCE; HOLDS EDUCATION TOWN HALL IN WINDHAM

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Wednesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will discuss education reform at the Connecticut Association of Boards of Education's annual lobby day in Hartford. Boards of education members, superintendents, and students from area schools are expected at the event.

Later, Governor Malloy will give brief remarks at a news conference hosted by the Connecticut State Dental Association, where the group will be releasing a summary report about the progress made since the General Assembly drafted a new Medicaid system for the delivery of children's dental health services in the state in 2008.

In the evening, Governor Malloy and Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman will host a town hall meeting on education reform in Windham, where they will discuss the need to improve the state's public school system with parents, students, teachers, and other concerned members of the public. The event is the fifth stop of the Governor's Education Reform Tour.
