MONDAY: GOV. MALLOY HOLDS POST-BOND COMMISSION MEDIA AVAILABILITY; WELCOMES TROOPS HOME FROM AFGHANISTAN

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Monday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold a media availability at the conclusion of the scheduled meeting of the State Bond Commission.

Later, Governor Malloy will welcome home the members of the 103rd Security Forces unit back from deployment in Afghanistan. The group was deployed in July and has been responsible for base security, IED screening and counter-insurgency operations. Governor Malloy visited the members of the 103rd unit during his trip to Afghanistan in November.
