GOV. MALLOY STATEMENT ON EARTHQUAKE IN TURKEY
(HARTFORD, CT) - Governor Dannel P. Malloy released the following statement on the earthquake in Turkey:
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the citizens of Turkey, and the Turkish-American residents of Connecticut, as they cope with this devastating earthquake and its aftermath. We stand ready to assist the Red Cross and other organizations who are critical to ensuring Connecticut's Turkish-American residents connect with family and friends overseas. Our hearts go out to the people whose lives have been shattered by this disaster, and those in our state who are worried about their loved ones."
