SATURDAY: GOV. MALLOY TOURS COLTSVILLE WITH INTERIOR SECRETARY SALAZAR, REP. LARSON, SEN. BLUMENTHAL, MAYOR SEGARRA
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Saturday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy, Congressman John B. Larson, Senator Richard Blumenthal and Hartford Mayor Pedro Segarra will guide U.S. Department of the Interior Secretary Ken Salazar on a tour of the Coltsville Historic District in Hartford and discuss with him their efforts to have the site designated a National Historic Park. Combined with the proposed iQuilt project, this designation would be a key to Hartford's economic revival - creating new jobs and aiding existing downtown businesses. At the conclusion of the tour, they will hold a news conference to discuss their efforts.
