FRIDAY: GOV. MALLOY SPEAKS AT UCONN LAW SCHOOL INSURANCE LAW SYMPOSIUM; HOLDS POST-BOND COMMISSION MEDIA AVAILABILITY

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Friday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will give a speech at an international insurance regulation symposium hosted by SNR Denton law firm and the University of Connecticut School of Law titled, "International Insurance Regulation in a Post-Crisis Environment: Perspectives from the US, the EU, China and the Middle East." The Governor will speak about the insurance and financial services industries in Connecticut, and will be followed by a speech from Connecticut Insurance Department Commissioner Thomas Leonardi.

Also on Friday morning, Governor Malloy will hold a media availability at the conclusion of the scheduled meeting of the State Bond Commission. Items included in the meeting's agenda invest in the revitalization of Connecticut's infrastructure, create or maintain hundreds of construction-related jobs, and enhance future economic growth in the state.
