MONDAY: GOV. MALLOY ON JOBS TOUR VISITS AVALENCE IN MILFORD
(HARTFORD, CT) - Continuing on his Jobs Tour, on Monday afternoon Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Department of Economic & Community Development Commissioner Catherine Smith will visit Avalence LLC in Milford for an opportunity to meet with the company's staff and executives to discuss their development strategy and overall business outlook. Avalence is a small manufacturing business that produces emission-free, reliable and cost-efficient hydrogen-generating equipment. The company is currently installing a Hydrofiller hydrogen fueling station in Hamden to refuel a hybrid hydrogen-powered paratransit bus as part of the Greater New Haven Transit District HyRide Hydrogen Project. The company will give the Governor a presentation about their business, followed by a tour of the facilities.
