GOV. MALLOY ORDERS FLAGS TO FULL STAFF
(HARTFORD, CT) - Governor Dannel P. Malloy ordered the Connecticut and U.S. flags returned to full staff at sunset today.
Flags were lowered on August 15, 2011 in honor of Sergeant Edward J. Frank II, who was killed in action in Nalgham, Afghanistan when his mounted patrol vehicle struck an IED. Sgt. Frank, 26, born in Hartford, served in the Army's 1st Battalion, 32d Infantry, 3rd Brigade Combat Team out of Fort Drum, New York.
