GOV. MALLOY ORDERS FLAGS RAISED TO FULL STAFF AT SUNSET
(HARTFORD, CT) - Governor Dannel P. Malloy ordered that the Connecticut and U.S. flags be returned to full staff at sunset today.
The flags were lowered on April 29, 2011 in honor of Major Raymond G. Estelle II, a 40-year old Connecticut native who was killed in action in Kabul, Afghanistan. Major Estelle was based out of Langley-Eustis, Virginia and was a 19-year veteran of the Air Force. He served in the Air Force Smart Operations 21 Directorate.
Funeral services for Major Estelle were held today in Florida.
