THURSDAY: GOVERNOR MALLOY ADDRESSES NORTHWEST CHAMBER; TAKES BUSINESS TOUR OF TECHNICAL INDUSTRIES IN TORRINGTON

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Thursday afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will be the keynote speaker at the Northwest Connecticut Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting in Torrington, where he will speak about his efforts to improve the business climate in Connecticut and get our state's fiscal house in order to help create new jobs and keep the ones we have. This will be the eighth Chamber of Commerce in the state that the Governor has formally addressed in the last six weeks.

Following that, Governor Malloy will take a business tour of Technical Industries, Inc. in Torrington. The tour of the company's facility will give the Governor an opportunity to meet with the management team and staff at the business, which is a custom plastic injection molding manufacturer that provides service worldwide. The Governor has been touring local small and large businesses to discuss the state budget and plans to help grow jobs.
