TUESDAY: GOV. MALLOY JOINS ENERGY PROVIDERS, OPERATION FUEL TO ANNOUNCE INNOVATIVE PROGRAM TO HELP MINORITY- AND WOMEN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES
(Hartford, CT) - Governor Dannel P. Malloy will join Senator John Fonfara, and representatives from Dominion, PSEG and Operation Fuel to announce a new pilot program that will directly benefit women-and minority-owned businesses. Funding from Dominion and PSEG will be used to provide grants to small businesses and educate business owners on energy conservation and efficiency which will allow them to lower energy costs and consumption.
