TAX-FAX And Computer Bulletin Board Service Available From The Connecticut Department Of Revenue Services

The Department of Revenue Services is now offering two new services to Connecticut taxpayers and practitioners.

The Department is offering "TAX-FAX," an automated fax-back system which can be operated by dialing 860-297-5698 from your fax machine. It is easy to receive many of the forms and publications offered by DRS by following the menu steps. Most income tax forms are available now, more documents are being added daily.

The Department has also started operating a computer bulletin board service. Any computer user with a modem and terminal software can reach the board, which has tax-related information and files posted in its memory. You can reach the DRS Computer Bulletin Board at 860-297-5907.

Each service operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, except for times when data are being loaded into their memories.
