Bulletin 2777, for the week ending May 12, 2017, listed a loan production office application for UBS Bank USA, a Utah-chartered industrial bank, as 8 Wright Street, Waterbury. The correct address is 8 Wright Street, Westport.

Notice of Intent to Impose Civil Penalty
On June 8, 2017, the Commissioner issued a Notice of Intent to Issue Order to Cease and Desist, Notice of Intent to Impose Civil Penalty and Notice of Right to Hearing (“Notice”) in the Matter of: United Guaranty Commercial Insurance Company of North Carolina (“Respondent”), Raleigh, North Carolina. The Notice was the result of an investigation by the Consumer Credit Division. The Commissioner alleges that Respondent acted as a consumer collection agency without a consumer collection agency license in this state, in violation of Section 36a-801(a) of the Connecticut General Statutes. Respondent was afforded an opportunity to request a hearing with regard to the allegation set forth in the Notice.
