ACQUISITION
On June 22, 2006, pursuant to Section 36a-184 of the Connecticut General Statutes, Plainfield Greenwich Holdings LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, filed an acquisition statement to acquire more than 10% but less than 25% of the issued and outstanding common stock of The Bank of Greenwich, a Connecticut bank (in organization).

Notice of Automatic Suspension, Notice of Intent to Revoke First Mortgage
Broker License and Notice of Right to Hearing Issued
On June 20, 2006 the Commissioner issued a Notice of Automatic Suspension, Notice of Intent to Revoke First Mortgage Broker License and Notice of Right to Hearing (“Order”), In the Matter of: 1st Continental Mortgage, Inc. (“Respondent”) of 1040 Bayview Drive, Suite 610, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.  The action is based on Respondent’s failure to maintain a surety bond that runs concurrently with the period of its first mortgage broker license, in violation of Section 36a-492(a) of the Connecticut General Statutes.  In the Order, the Commissioner gave Notice that on March 27, 2006, Respondent’s license to act as a first mortgage broker in Connecticut was automatically suspended and that the Commissioner intends to revoke Respondent’s license to act as a first mortgage broker in Connecticut.  Respondent was afforded an opportunity to request a hearing with regard to the allegations set forth in the Order.  A copy of the Order can be obtained from the department's website, www.ct.gov/dob or by contacting the department's Legal Division.

Correspondent Lender/Broker and Secondary Mortgage Correspondent
Lender/Broker License and Notice of Right to a Hearing Issued
On June 20, 2006 the Commissioner issued a Notice of Automatic Suspension, Notice of Intent to Revoke First Mortgage Correspondent Lender/Broker and Secondary Mortgage Correspondent Lender/Broker Licenses and Notice of Right to Hearing (“Order”), In the Matter of: American Fidelity, Inc. (“Respondent”), of 10200 Daradale Avenue, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  The action is based on Respondent’s failure to maintain a surety bond that runs concurrently with the period of its first mortgage correspondent lender/broker license, in violation of Section 36a-492(a) of the Connecticut General Statutes.  In the Order, the Commissioner gave Notice that on March 27, 2006, Respondent’s license to act as a first mortgage correspondent lender/broker in Connecticut was automatically suspended and that the Commissioner intends to revoke Respondent’s licenses to act as a first mortgage correspondent lender/broker and secondary mortgage correspondent lender/broker in Connecticut.  Respondent was afforded an opportunity to request a hearing with regard to the allegations set forth in the Order.  A copy of the Order can be obtained from the department's website, www.ct.gov/dob or by contacting the department's Legal Division.

Mortgage (“Respondent”), of 4 Barlows Landing Road #20, Pocasset, Massachusetts.  The action is based on Respondent’s failure to maintain a surety bond that runs concurrently with the period of its first mortgage broker license, in violation of Section 36a-492(a) of the Connecticut General Statutes.  In the Order, the Commissioner gave Notice that on April 3, 2006, Respondent’s license to act as a first mortgage broker in Connecticut was automatically suspended and that the Commissioner intends to revoke Respondent’s license to act as a first mortgage broker in Connecticut.  Respondent was afforded an opportunity to request a hearing with regard to the allegations set forth in the Order.  A copy of the Order can be obtained from the department's website, www.ct.gov/dob or by contacting the department's Legal Division.
