Employees' Use of Dealer and Repairer
License Plates

An employee of a dealership or repair shop may use a dealer or repairer plate if:

  1. The person is a full-time employee of the dealer or repairer (minimum of 35 hrs. per week)and is authorized to use the plates by the dealer/repairer.
  2. The dealer or repairer must issue the person a supplemental identification card (as required by Sec. 14-63-15 of the Motor Vehicle Regulations).
  3. The plated vehicle must be owned by the business.
