The Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security (DEMHS) works to keep Connecticut safe by planning and managing programs to handle all kinds of emergencies, such as natural disasters and human-made hazards. We focus on preventing problems, reducing risks, preparing for emergencies, responding when they happen, and helping communities recover.

Emergency Management
