         STATE POLICE SEEK PUBLIC'S HELP IN SOLVING ELLINGTON BREAK-IN

   State Police are seeking the public’s help in solving a November burglary at Rice Packaging Inc. commercial building in Ellington.

   On Saturday, November 20, at about 11:30 a.m., a suspect broke into the commercial building, located on Route 83 in Ellington. The suspect caused significant damage to the interior of the building.

   The suspect is described as a white male, in his 50s, with shoulder-length white or gray hair and a moustache and goatee.  State Police obtained video surveillance footage of the crime and based on the surveillance video, Troopers believe the suspect is 5’6” to 5’10” tall and about 210 pounds.  He was wearing work boots, jeans and a lined, outdoor workshirt.

   State Police are asking anyone who may have any information about this incident or identity of the suspect is asked to call Trooper First Class Robert Given at the Ellington Resident Trooper’s Office at (860) 875-1522.  All calls will be kept confidential.
