                    STATE POLICE MAKE STALKING ARREST

                                             Litchfield, CT

On 03/11/09, State Police Troop L received a complaint from a 17 year old female who stated she was being followed and stalked by a male as she walked to school in Litchfield. The victim stated that in September 2008 she first noticed a pick up truck parked at a local business as she walked to school. As she went by the truck the operator would look at her. A short distance down the road the truck would start up and she would see the operator again further down the road. The complainant indicated that this went on almost everyday.

State Police Troopers conducted a surveillance of this activity and confirmed the victim’s account of the incident. State Troopers obtained facts and information during this criminal investigation and submitted an arrest warrant application to Superior Court for the arrest of the accused.

Today 03/16/09 the arrest warrant was issued by the court

The accused was advised and he surrendered to State Police.  He was processed and held on $25,000 bond and will appear in Superior Court GA #18 in Bantam on 03/17/09.

Charges: Stalking 3rd and Disorderly Conduct
