                  STATE POLICE MAKE COMPUTER CRIME ARREST

                              49 Hill Avenue

      Wallingford, CT

Charges:  One count of Criminal Attempt at Impairing the Morals of a Minor

One count of Criminal Attempt at Enticement of a Minor

                       

    On February 25, 2009 the Connecticut State Police concluded an investigation of the accused that while online communicated with an undercover State Trooper posing as a minor. This investigation determined that the accused used sexually graphic online conversations with what he perceived as minors on the Internet, who were actually undercover Troopers. 

    Facts and information was developed during this investigation that resulted in a search and seizure warrant being issued by Superior Court to search the residence, 49 Hill Avenue in Wallingford and at his place of employment.

    During the execution of the search warrant several computer related items were seized. These items will be examined by the computer Crimes Unit of the State Police

    Also during the execution of the search warrant at the accused residence the accused was taken into custody and transported to State Police Troop G in Bridgeport where he was processed and released on a $20,000 bond. The accused will appear at New Haven Superior court GA #23 on March 11, 2009 at 09:00 AM.
