STATE POLICE INVESTIGATE

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ATTEMPTED MURDER

On 08/30/09 Connecticut State Police Troop A Southbury received 911 call reporting that there was a fight in progress at 101 Gold Mine Rd, Roxbury.  The caller also reported that  someone was injured.

Upon arrival to the scene State Troopers located a 48 year old injured male who was transported to Waterbury Hospital where he was treated for multiple wounds and released. 

The criminal investigation at the scene revealed that the accused Jonathan Young 5/29/86 of 38 Holyoke St, Boston MA was involved in a domestic dispute that resulted in a stabbing incident.  The accused was taken into custody at the scene by State Police.

Accused Young was transported to Troop-A Southbury where he was processed and held on a $250,000 bond.  Young was charged with Criminal Attempt to Commit Homicide, Criminal Mischief and Larceny 3rd.

Young was transported to GA #18 in Litchfield on 08/31/09 for arraignment.
