STATE POLICE INVESTIGATE ASSAULT  

IN BURLINGTON CONNECTICUT.

 

     On July 20, 2009 at about 10:48 a.m. Troopers from the Connecticut State Police Troop L responded to a 911 emergency call concerning an assault that had occurred at 73 Lyon in Burlington, CT.

     Troopers responded to the scene and learned this incident involved two male occupants (victims) who reported that they had been assaulted by 3-4 male assailants, who subsequently fled the scene. 

    A few moments later State Police Troopers on patrol were able to stop a vehicle fitting the description of the assailants’ vehicle at the intersection of Rt. 8/118 and detain four suspects believed to be involved in the altercation.

    State Police Detectives from the Western District Major Crime Squad responded to the process the scene and assumed the investigation.

 

      The victims Thomas A. Adamaitis DOB: 03/08/1986 of 73 Lyon Road and Shane R. Levesque DOB: 02/11/1985 of Plainville, CT suffered non-life threatening injuries; both were treated at the scene by EMS Personnel.

     This case remains active and under investigation by the Connecticut State Police Western District Major Crime Squad.
