CONNECTICUT STATE TROOPERS
THANKSGIVING WEEKEND ENFORCEMENT

   Connecticut State Troopers supplemented the normal patrol force with additional State Troopers over the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend.

   Troopers patrolled all roads and highways across Connecticut and focused on drunk driving violations and targeted aggressive drivers.

   Sobriety checkpoints and targeted DUI patrols were in place over the entire weekend. State Troopers will continue this preventive enforcement effort until the end of the Holiday season.  

   These State Police stats cover the time period starting at midnight on 11/25/09 to 11/29/09 midnight.

OTHER HAZARDOUS MOVING VIOLATIONS Arrests3,092 (Including unsafe lane cahnge, following too closely, cell phone usage, failure to signal, etc.)
