STATE POLICE MAKE ARREST IN SEXUAL ASSAULT IN STAFFORD
                 
        On 11/14/08 in the early morning hours the Connecticut State Police Stafford Resident Trooper was assigned to assist the FBI New Haven Office in the execution of a Federal Search and Seizure warrant at 172 West Stafford Rd. related to a Federal pornography Investigation.  During the execution of that Federal Search Warrant the Resident State Trooper uncovered information that determined that an additional state criminal investigation was required in this case.
     State Police Major Crimes Detectives were assigned to respond to the residence at 172 West Stafford Rd. Stafford, CT. to initiate the State Police Criminal investigation.  Detectives discovered information and evidence that led them to conduct several interviews of witnesses related to this investigation. State Police Detectives identified a victim and determined that the victim had been sexually assaulted at this residence.
      State Police Detectives obtained a search and seizure warrant from Superior Court to conduct a search of the residence at 172 West Stafford Rd. on 11/15/08 State Police Detectives searched the residence.
    As a result of evidence discovered and information obtained in this criminal investigation, State Police Detectives submitted an arrest warrant application today 11/15/08 to Superior Court in Tolland County for the arrest of the accused. The arrest warrant was issued and at 12:24 p.m. today State Police Detectives placed the accused under arrest and took the accused into custody without incident. The accused was transported to Troop-C where he was processed and held on $500,000 the court set bond to appear in Superior Court GA#19 on Monday 11/17/08.

  • 4 counts of Sexual Assault 1st,
  • 5 counts Sexual Assault 4th,
  • Employing a Minor in an Obscene Performance,
  • Promoting a Minor in an Obscene Performance, 
  • 2 counts of Impairing the Morals of a Minor, 
  • 20 counts of Risk of Injury to a Minor ,
  • Possession of Child Pornography in the   1st. Degree.
   The investigation is continuing.
