    HOME INVASION INVESTIGATION, ELLINGTON CT

    On Monday evening 11-17-08 at 6:46 p.m. a 911 call from a private residence located on West Shore Road in  Ellington was received for the report of a man that had attacked a female victim.   The victim, a 26-year-old, stated that she confronted an unknown male in her residence and that the male physically assaulted her. The victim reported that a struggled ensued resulting in minor injuries to the victim and that subsequently the male fled the residence toward Rt. 30. 

   The victim described the suspect male as: a white male in his 20’s, approximately 5’10” to 6’2” tall, approximately 180 lbs., clean shaven, wearing a black coat and dark knit hat.   

   Connecticut State Police Detectives from the Eastern District Major Crime Squad were called to the scene to  process the crime scene and assist with this investigation.
