RECOGNIZE THIS MAN ?

composite of suspect from New Hartford Incident

The Connecticut State Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the man depicted in this composite.  This man is being sought for questioning in regards to the attempted assault of a young child at the New Hartford Public Library. This attempted assault occurred inside the library on Tuesday August 5, 2008 at around 5:00 pm. He is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall, slim build, with brown hair and acne.  At the time of the incident, the male was wearing a light blue short sleeved shirt, black shorts, and white sneakers.  He was in the company of a child who was a white female described as 2 to 4 years old, wearing a pink short sleeved shirt and light blue shorts.                                     

State police are asking anyone who may have been in the area of the New Hartford Public Library on Tuesday at about 5 p.m. or anyone who has any information about the POSSIBLE identity of this individual to please call the New Hartford Resident State Trooper’s Office at (860) 379-8621 or State Police Troop B at (860) 824-2500, or toll free in CT at (800) 497-0403.
