                     STATE POLICE INVESTIGATE LARGE FRAUDULANT
                               PAYROLL CHECK CASHING CASE

Connecticut State Police Troop-F in Westbrook initiated a criminal investigation into the cashing of fraudulent payroll checks that appeared to originate from the Water's Edge Resort in Westbrook.  There are approximately 23 suspects responsible for cashing these checks. The suspects appear to be Hispanic males and females who entered the New Alliance Bank located on 1238 Boston Post Road in Westbrook and cashed a number of fraudulent checks stealing $19,260.82. 
   
The State Police investigating this larceny determined that the 23 suspects both Hispanic males and females.  entered the bank and cashed the bogus payroll checks and may have fled in an unknown vehicle.  The New Alliance Bank Video surveillance show photos of the suspects involved in this larceny. State Police investigators also determined  that the Guilford Police Department is also investigating a similar type incident in their Town. 

State Police have developed some investigative leads in this case but are still seeking any information information as to the identity of some or all of these suspects. Below are some of the surveillance photos of the suspects-
