URBAN VIOLENCE TASK FORCE, NEW HAVEN

SEARCH WARRANT- 6 ARRESTS AND DRUGS SEIZED

   On Friday 06/22/07 at 10:30 a.m. the Urban Violence Task Force, an enforcement initiative comprised of State Troopers and New Haven Police Officers, served a search warrant at 27 Lombard Street New Haven. This was a continuation of an operation that is aimed at quality of life issues in the City of New Haven.
   Upon initial entry into the premises one subject attempted to jump out the second story, but was apprehended.  That subject (Monaco) was apprehended, but resisted arrest while being taken into custody.
   Those listed below were arrested on numerous charges including  Sale of Narcotics, Sale of Narcotics w/i 1500 feet school, Poss. of Narcotics, Poss. Of Narcotics w/i 1500 feet school, Poss. Of Drug Paraphernalia, Poss. Drug Paraphernalia w/i 1500 feet school, Felony violation of Parole, Failure to Appear and Interfering with the Police. 
   A total of 21.2 grams of rock cocaine was seized.
   All suspects were detained on bond and will be presented at New Haven Superior Court, GA 23, on June 25, 2007.
