SEARCH FOR MISSING WOMAN CONTINUES

HADDAM CT

Just after 7:30 p.m. Troop F received the report of a missing 71 year old woman from Haddam, CT. State Troopers responded to the scene a began an investigation and search of the immediate area. Additional resources were added to the search as time went on and the woman was not located. These resources included numerous fire fighters from the Haddam Fire Department and other departments providing mutual aid. The State Police deployed several State Police K-9 teams and Trooper One to the area. The search continued throughout the night.

A resource know as “A Child is Missing” was utilized which sends out a recorded message in regards to the missing person to the residential phones in the area asking residents to be on the look out for the missing person.

The missing person who has a history of dementia is

Jacqueline ANDERSON  age 71

of Meeting House Road, Haddam

   she is described as a white female approximately 5’4” and weights 160 lbs,

she has brown hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a red “V” neck sweater, black trousers and white sneakers. Anderson was last seen in the vicinity of Route 154 in Haddam near 1010 Saybrook Road. The woman does not speak however she is known to smile a lot.
