STATE POLICE SEARCH
FOR MISSING SOUTHBURY MAN

State Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing Southbury man.

Paul Schoonmaker has been missing since the morning of February 11.  State Police located Schoonmaker’s vehicle on February 12 at George Waldo State Park in Southbury.

State Police K-9 teams have searched the state park several times for Schoonmaker, without success and utilized the State Police helicopter, “Trooper One,” in these searches.   State Police received search assistance from officers from the Department of Environmental Protection, who covered the park using snowmobiles and ATVs, and from members of the Southbury Volunteer Fire Department.

Schoonmaker, 47, is a described as a Caucasian, 5’9” tall, 200 pounds with black hair and blue eyes.

Anyone who may have information regarding Paul Schoonmaker and his disappearance is asked to call the Southbury Resident State Trooper at (203) 264-5912.
