Hazard Mitigation Training Opportunity Announced by DEMHS
The Hazard Mitigation Unit of the Connecticut Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security would like to inform you of a one day training opportunity occurring this month. FEMA Region 1 staff will be offering an in-person training at DESPP Headquarters (1111 Country Club Road, Middletown CT 06457) on August 28th from 8:30a.m. to 4:00p.m, to review the new 6.0 toolkit, provide examples and methods for utilizing the tool, and answer any questions.
Please bring a computer with the toolkit application installed in order to follow along. If you have issues adding the application into Excel, you can use Excel Online through Microsoft Office (https://www.office.com/). Also, feel free to bring any past or current HMA projects as tangible examples to work with the tool.
