Canoe & Kayak Rental At Burr Pond, Lake Waramaug, and Sunrise Resort State Parks
Please be aware that rental operations close for inclement weather.
Canoe and Kayak rentals at Burr Pond State Park (Torrington), Lake Waramaug State Park (New Preston) and Sunrise Resort State Park
Canoes and kayaks may be rented from Memorial Day through Labor Day. No reservations are necessary as rentals are done on a "first come-first served" basis. Rentals are available by the hour or by the day.
Rental Hours:
Weekdays: 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
Weekends: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Rental Rates (per boat):
$15 per hour or $80 per day for single seat kayaks
$15 per hour or $80 per day for single seat kayaks
$20 per hour or $100 per day for double kayaks or canoes
$10 per half hour, $15 per hour, for stand up paddleboard, no daily rate available.

Rental Rates:Single Kayak $17 per hour
Double Kayak $25 per hour
