Municipal and Regional Grants and Technical Assistance
Available funding for Save Money and Reduce Trash (SMART) programs effective February 6, 2020
The Sustainable Materials Management program at DEEP is committed to providing technical assistance and support to municipalities and regions on reducing waste and saving money. These efforts support Connecticut’s 2006 Solid Waste Management Plan which establishes a statewide goal of reaching 60% diversion from disposal by 2024 and identifies priority strategies to provide technical assistance and incentives to municipalities.
