Real Estate License Change of Information
NAME CHANGE:
To report a name change, please send an email to DCP.Licenseservices@ct.gov with the following information:
- Real estate license number
- Current name on license
- New name
- A copy of an official court document reflecting the legal name change (marriage certificate, divorce decree) or a copy of a driver's license reflecting the name change.
ADDRESS CHANGE:
To report a change of address, please send an email to DCP.Licenseservices@ct.gov with the following information:
- Real estate license number
- Date of birth
- Current address of record
- New address
CHANGE OF SPONSORING BROKER/SALESPERSON TRANSFER:
To report a change of sponsorship, the licensed salesperson and the sponsoring broker must complete the attached Real Estate Salesperson Transfer Form and mail it directly to this office before a salesperson can represent a new broker.
SALESPERSON TERMINATION:
A sponsoring broker must provide notification to this office anytime a salesperson is no longer affiliated with the sponsoring broker. To report a termination of a salesperson, the sponsoring broker may send an email to DCP.Licenseservices@ct.gov with the following information or complete the attached Real Estate Salesperson Termination Form:
- Legal name of sponsoring broker
- Current license number of sponsoring broker
- Telephone number of sponsoring broker
- Name of salesperson
- License number of salesperson
- Email address of salesperson
- Real Estate Salesperson Termination Form
