Lt. Governor Wyman Statement On Attorney General Jepsen's Decision Not To Seek Re-Election
(Hartford, CT) – Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman released the following statement regarding Attorney General George Jepsen’s announcement that he would not seek re-election in 2018:
“George Jepsen is an extraordinary public servant, one who leads with calm, quiet determination and a true sense of wanting to make the state a better place for residents. He’s a deep thinker and a skilled strategist—a true advocate for the people, and one who keeps his eye on the long game of creating a just, stable state and mentoring the rising leaders who will meet Connecticut’s future challenges. He is a good man and I wish him all the best in whatever he does next. I’m honored to call him friend.”
