Jewelry

There are a number of organizations consumers and businesses may consult regarding jewelry purchases in the state:
  • The Connecticut Jewelers Association is a private trade association of jewelers in Connecticut.
  • Jewelers Vigilance Committee is a non-profit association seeking to advance ethical standards in the jewelry industry and trade, by eliminating unfair competition and deceptive practices relating to jewelry matters. The committee accepts consumer complaints and works closely with consumer protection agencies in every state as well as consumer organizations.
