How can a Lienholder or contracted ELT Service Provider gain access to the Lien Status Inquiry?
For access to the Lien Status Inquiry site, you must have an approved Authorized User Agreement on file with the CT DMV. Once approved you will receive an e-mail from Connecticut Interactive LLC (allow 2 days), who will provide you with access. Completed Authorized User Agreements must be e-mailed to DMV.Title@ct.gov

Who is authorized to use the Lien Status Inquiry?
A CT DMV approved authorized Lienholder or their contracted ELT Service Provider. NOTE: As a prerequisite for a contracted ELT Service Provider - their primary Lienholder must first have an approved Authorized User Agreement on file with the CT DMV.

How current is the data?
The data is updated every 48 hours. (example: todays real-time data will be updated tomorrow)

Do user account passwords expire?
All user account passwords are good for 90 days, at which point a user will have to create a new password. A user will start receiving password notification e-mail 14 days prior to expiration.
How can a user account be disabled?
A request to disable a user account may be sent to the CT DMV by e-mail to: DMV.Title@ct.gov
The request must include the user's name, user's e-mail, and the name of the Lienholder and/or the contracted ELT Service Provider.
