The West Haven Mental Health Clinic is a satellite clinic of the Connecticut Mental Health Center (CMHC) that is the location of the Young Adult Service and the Child and Adolescent Service. The clinic is a state facility that provides outpatient psychiatric services to young people 3 to 25 years of age living in the greater New Haven area.

The Young Adult Service provides services to young people 18 to 25 years of age experiencing psychiatric difficulty who need assistance negotiating the transition from adolescence to early adulthood.  The Child and Adolescent Service provides services to children 3 to 17 years of age experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulty.  The Child and Adolescent Service is a licensed outpatient psychiatric clinic for children.

Monday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Except under unusual circumstances, the clinic serves children, adolescents, and young adults with either no insurance or HUSKY benefits.
