State Police Detectives Investigate Untimely Death in Waterbury Commuter Lot


            Waterbury, CT. (July 20, 2016): State Police Detectives from Western District Major Crime
(WDMC) are investigating an untimely death in the Route 8 exit 29 commuter lot
in Waterbury.

             On July 20, 2016 at approximately 9:15 a.m., troopers from Troop A-Southbury responded to the Route 8 exit 29 commuter lot for the report of an unconscious male in a motor vehicle.

            Upon arrival troopers located the unconscious male alone in the vehicle.  EMS responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased.

            State Police Detectives from Western District Major Crime responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.  The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) also responded to the scene and will assist with the investigation.  The OCME will conduct a post-mortem examination to determine cause and manner of death.

            Through the course of the investigation detectives determined there is no criminal aspect to this untimely death.
