State Police Make Narcotics Arrest

On December 1, 2010 at approximately 2:00 p.m. the State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force assisted by the Waterbury Police Department, concluded a two month investigation into a cocaine trafficking organization operating in the New Haven and Waterbury area with the arrest of 4 people.

During this narcotics investigation SNTF Undercover Narcotics Detectives developed information and submitted arrest warrant applications to GA #4 Waterbury for the arrest of 4 people.  The arrest warrants were issued by the court and in addition a Search and Seizure Warrant was also issued.

This narcotics investigation resulted in the seizure of over one kilogram of cocaine (1303 grams), and $8335 cash

Arrested :

Thomas Pastore (DOB 09/24/75) of 9 Arthur Road, East Haven.

Jovani Ayala (DOB 07/05/83) of 675 South Main Street, Waterbury.

Jose Rivera (DOB 12/27/77) of 37 Knollwood Circle, Waterbury.

Ernest Delgado (DOB 06/30/84) of 73 Angel Drive, Waterbury.

All of the accused were held on $500,000 cash bond and will be arraigned in GA #4 Waterbury today 12/2/10.
