   STATE POLICE DETECTIVES MAKE ARREST

 IN PHARMACY ROBBERY IN MANSFIELD

   On 12-22-09, at approximately 11:00 a.m., State Troopers from the Mansfield Resident Trooper’s Office responded to the CVS Pharmacy at Routes 195 & 44 in Mansfield for a reported robbery where a handgun was implied. The attendant at the drive-thru reported that a lone male subject approached the drive-up window while masked and on foot holding a sign that read, “There is a man in the store with a gun, give me what I want or else.”

   On 01-01-10, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Troopers from the Mansfield Resident Troopers Office and Troop C again responded to the CVS store located at Routs 195 & 44 for a reported robbery.  In both instances, the subject requested 80 mg Oxycontin pills.

   State Police Eastern District Major Crime Squad Detectives responded to these scenes to assist in the investigation.  State Police Detectives developed leads and information on a suspect vehicle and suspect in this case.  As a result of leads and information developed in these criminal investigations, detectives on January 15 applied to Superior Court GA#19 Rockville for an arrest warrant for the accused.

   

   On 01-19-10, Christopher M. Wojcik, DOB:,09-30-82, of 760 Mansfield City Road, Mansfield, was arrested at G.A. 19 and charged with Robbery 1st degree, Larceny 4th degree, Robbery 3rd degree and Larceny 3rd degree. Accused WOJCIK was held on a court set bond of $100,000.00.
