         STATE POLICE MAKE ARREST IN SEXUAL ASSAULT INVESTIGATION

   On June 8, 2009, Detectives from State Police Troop K in Colchester received a complaint of a sexual assault of a juvenile in the town of Lebanon. 

   State Police Detectives initiated a criminal sexual assault investigation based on the complaint.  Detectives conducted interviews and gathered facts and circumstances in this criminal case that led them to submit an arrest warrant application to Superior Court in New London for the arrest of the accused in this case.

   On June 16, 2009, New London Superior Court issued the arrest warrant for the accused. On June 16, 2009, the arrest warrant - charging yhe accused with two counts of sexual assault in the first degree and three counts of risk of injury to a minor - was executed. 

   The accused was taken into custody and processed at Troop K. The accused was held on $250,000 bond to appear in Superior Court in New London on June 17, 2009.
