STATE POLICE APPREHEND SERIAL BANK ROBBER

     On September 28, 2009, at about 3:15 p.m., Connecticut State Police Major Crime Detectives arrested the female serial bank robber in the city of Hartford.

     State Police Detectives conducted an extensive criminal investigation and followed up numerous leads in this case. Today, Connecticut State Police Major Crime Detectives were able to intercept and apprehend accused Brown.  Brown was taken into custody without incident.

     Accused Brown was transported to State Police Troop E in Montville where the arrest warrant for the Montville Bank Robbery will be executed. Brown will be formally charged with the Sept. 21 robbery of the Citizen’s Bank located at 211 Norwich-New London Turnpike (Rte. 32) in Montville.

     Accused Brown will be held on $250,000 court set bond to appear in
GA # 21 in Norwich on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009.
