Motor Vehicle Stop Leads to Seizure of Cocaine
   On Tuesday, 06/02/2009 at approximately 7:45 p.m. A State Trooper on patrol on Route in Trumbull observed a motor vehicle violation on a vehicle traveling northbound on Route 8 near exit #11 in Trumbull.
   Upon stopping the vehicle the Trooper was able to search the vehicle and in doing so discovered approximately 8.8 lbs. of a white powder substance that field tested positive for Cocaine.
   The operator of the vehicle was taken into custody and transported to Troop G in Bridgeport. He was arrested and processed on criminal charges. The suspected cocaine was seized and transported to an evidence holding facility. The estimated street value of the suspect cocaine is $250,000.
