             INVESTIGATION LEADS TO NARCOTICS ARRESTS IN PUTNAM

   On October 27, 2009, the Statewide Narcotic Task Force - East Field Office and the Putnam Police Department conducted a joint narcotic-related investigation. This investigation resulted in a narcotic-related search warrant being executed at 52-54 Edmond Street, 2nd floor, in Putnam.  The investigation revealed that an amount of illicit narcotics was being stored and sold from said residence and that three small children resided at the residence. The Troop D, Danielson Quality of Life Task Force assisted with the execution of this search warrant. The investigation will continue.

   Seized was: 3 pounds (1360 grams) of marijuana packaged for sale, 33 tablets of LSD, 8 oxycontin pills,$940.00 dollars US Currency & numerous items of drug paraphernalia consisting of packaging material and scales.
