BACKGROUND:   The Connecticut State Police identified 10 cold cases to be featured through the innovative On Demand service.  Each crime profiled on Connecticut’s Police Blotters is either a wanted person or an unsolved case that the Connecticut State Police is actively working to close.  The cases involve violent crimes including murder, assault, rape and gang violence, among others.

One such case being highlighted is the disappearance of Mary Badaracco who has been missing since August 1984 and is believed to be a homicide victim.  She was last seen at her residence in Sherman Connecticut. Family members of Mary Badaracco are expected to be in attendance for the unveiling of this new tool.

Comcast’s On Demand service offers a growing library of more than 10,000 programs available anytime customers want to watch them – with the ability to fast forward, rewind and pause selections.  The vast majority of On Demand programming is available at no additional cost to digital cable customers.  Comcast customers have watched more than 11 billion On Demand programs since the service first launched in 2003.
