Arrest Warrant Roundup – Troop E’s Area;

43 Persons Arrested & 51 Arrest Warrants Served

On or about, May 1, 2009, the Connecticut State Police Statewide Fugitive Task Force began an arrest warrant roundup initiative focusing on arrest warrants being held by the Troop E Barracks in Montville.  Throughout the month of May, members of the Statewide Fugitive Task Force located and arrested thirty (30) persons wanted on thirty-three (33) arrest warrants (some arrestees had multiple arrest warrants) held by the Troop E Barracks.  On June 4, 2009, as the culmination of this initiative, the Statewide Fugitive Task Force, supported by several members of Troop E, Statewide Narcotics Task Force, Connecticut Regional Auto Theft Task Force, Statewide Firearms Trafficking Task Force; along with members of the Montville, East Lyme, Norwich, and New London Police departments; and the Connecticut Department of Corrections and their Parole division met at Troop E at 5:00 a.m. to fan out in teams throughout the Troop E area to serve additional arrest warrants.  During this one-day aspect of this initiative, thirteen (13) persons wanted on eighteen (18) arrest warrants were located and arrested.  The names of the persons arrested during this month long initiative are located below.
