                      STATE POLICE SEARCH FOR MISSING PERSON

Today at 12:30 p.m. State Police Troop-K Colchester received notification that an elderly person was missing from a parked car in the Wal-Mart Parking lot 474 Boston Post Rd. in North Windham.

Troopers responded to the location and learned that HARRY PIOTROSKI  DOB: 7/22/41 was seated in a parked car at about 11:30 a.m. while a family member went briefly inside the store. The family member returned to the car and PIOTROSKI was missing.  A brief search of the area was conducted and then the State Police was notified.

Troopers responded and established a command post and initiated an immediate search of the area.  State Police K-9 teams also responded and began to search.  State Police helicopter Trooper-1 responded to initiate a search of the area from the sky.  Troopers checked and notified all businesses in the area.

PIOTROSKI is described as a white male 5’8” tall, 210 lbs, and he walks with a shuffle. He was wearing brown loafers, a pull over shirt and a jacket over his shoulders.  He suffers from Dementia and may appear confused and not recognize or be aware of his surrounding.
