              STATE POLICE MAKE SEXUAL ASSAULT ARREST

On 01/01/08 Connecticut State Police Resident State Trooper in Tolland received a complaint of a sexual assault involving a minor that reportedly had taken place in the Town of Tolland.   A criminal investigation was initiated by State Troopers assigned to the Resident State Troopers Office.  Investigators conducted several interviews gathering facts and circumstances in this criminal case.  Major Crime Detectives were assigned to assist in this investigation.  State Police Investigators identified  two victims during this investigation.  Investigators prepared an arrest warrant affidavit and submitted the arrest warrant application to Superior Court for the arrest of the accused.

The arrest warrant was issued by Superior Court GA #19. The accused and his attorney were advised of the arrest warrant in this case.

Today 01/23/08 the accused HARRIS surrendered himself at Troop-C in Tolland . The accused was processed and held on a$750,000 court set bond to appear in Superior Court GA #19 in Rockville.

This investigation is continuing.
