PROSPECT RESIDENT TROOPER’S OFFICE MAKES BURGLARY ARREST

   On 09/21/08, shortly after 4:00 p.m., a police radio broadcast was sent out by the Waterbury Police that they were searching for a suspect vehicle that fled from an interrupted burglary that had taken place in the City of Waterbury.  A description of the suspect vehicle and the license plate were also provided to all surrounding law enforcement agencies.

   At approximately 4:15 p.m., Officer Fairchild of the Prospect Resident State Trooper’s Office, observed the suspect vehicle traveling on Talmadge Hill Road in Prospect. The suspect vehicle was stopped and the driver was positively identified as a female accused who was wanted by State Police on an active warrant related to a burglary investigation that took place on Clark Hill Road in Prospect.

   The female was taken into custody by Officer Fairchild and was she transported to State Police Troop I in Bethany where she was formally charged on the active arrest warrant for the burglary of a residence on Clark Hill Road in Prospect.

   The accused was held on a $100,000 bond to appear in GA #4 on 09/22/08 to answer these charges.
